Indications
Used in cattle and small ruminants, as well as in dogs and poultry for the treatment of bacterial infections of the respiratory system, digestive and genitourinary systems, infections of the skin and soft tissues, accompanied by inflammatory processes and caused by microorganisms sensitive to azithromycin.
The drug is used for the treatment of necrobacteriosis, spirochetosis and mycoplasma infections, as well as an antipyretic agent for diseases accompanied by fever.
Contraindication
It is forbidden to use the drug in animals during lactation, renal and hepatic failure, in case of allergic or intolerance to azithromycin, meloxicam and/or other components of the drug.
For pregnant animals and young animals, the drug is prescribed with caution under the supervision of a veterinarian.
Dose and administration
The drug is administered intramuscularly.
Before starting work, shake the bottle with the drug thoroughly to distribute the particles evenly.
Depending on the severity of the disease, the drug is used in large and small ruminants, as well as dogs once a day at a dose of 0.5 ml per 20 kg of animal weight (with an interval of 24 hours) for 3 to 4 days.
Withdrawal period
Slaughtered for meat:
- Cattle: 28 days post-last drug administration.
- Small ruminants: 38 days.
- Poultry: 14 days.
For milk: Not authorised for use in lactating animals producing milk for human consumption
Do not administer to poultry producing eggs for human consumption.
Storage:
Store at a cool place and keep out of direct sunlight.
After the first opening of the bottle, the drug can be used within 7 days, subject to the rules of asepsis and storage in a refrigerator at a temperature of 2°C to 8°C. It is prohibited to use the drug after the expiration date.
