Dosage form: Solution for injection.

Composition: Each 100 ml contains:

Florfenicol: 30 g

Flunixin meglumine: 1.65 g

Excipients qs: 100 ml

Indications

FLOFUXIN GOLD is a unique combination of the antibiotic Florfenicol and the anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic agent Flunixin Meglumine. It provides high treatment efficacy for respiratory diseases in cows (BRD), pneumonia, salmonellosis, cough, high fever, anorexia of unknown origin, meningitis, swollen head syndrome, pasteurellosis, severe diarrhea, mucus-covered stools, streaming diarrhea.

Contraindication: Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to components of the product.

Dose and administration

Intramuscular and subcutaneous injection

Cattle: 10 ml per 150 kg b.wt, in the neck muscle (20 mg activity per kg b.wt). Repeat the dose after 2 days in another site of the neck muscle.

OR by a single S.C injection in the neck region: 20 ml per 150 kg b.wt.(40 mg activity per kg b.wt).

Remarks:

- The dose should be subdivided.

- Do not inject, in each site, more than 10 ml for cattle.

- Not given to milking cattle.

- Not used for animals of breeding age.

Withdrawal period

For meat consumption :

- Cattle: 39 days (for I.M. injection) 

              44 days (for S.C. injection).

Storage: Keep it in a cool dry place, protected from direct sunlight. Temperature not exceeding 30oC
