PRODUCT BENEFITS

POVIDONE 10% is an iodine-based disinfectant that acts by oxidizing the cell walls of bacteria, viruses, fungi and spores. It remains stable and effective even in high organic conditions, making it suitable for disinfecting tanks, equipment and aquaculture facilities.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

 Dissolve with 50 times the amount of water and evenly pour into the pond.

- Shrimp:

+ Regular disinfection of the pond water source: 1 liter per 1,000-1,500 m3 of water, every 15 days.

+ Disinfection of pond water during a disease outbreak: 1 liter per 700-1,000 m3 of water, for 3 days or until the disease is under control.

+ Disinfection of settling ponds and pre-stocking pond treatment: 1 liter per 1,000 m3 of water.

- Fish:

+ Regular disinfection of the pond water source: 1 liter per 1,500-2,000 m3 of water, every 2 weeks.

+ Disinfection of pond water during a disease outbreak: 1 liter per 1,000-1,500 m3 of water, for 3 days or until the disease is under control.

+ Disinfection of fish breeding tanks and equipment at the breeding facility: 1 liter per 2 m3 of water. Spray or soak for 6-8 hours, then rinse with clean water and dry.

Note: Use in cool weather, late afternoon.
