Dosage form: Solution for injection.

Composition: Each 100 ml contains:

Butaphosphan: 10 g

Vitamin B12: 5 mg

Excipients qs: 100 ml

Indications

- Disorders of the metabolism (including lumbago of horses) caused by poor nutrition, inadequate management or disease.

- Disorders in development and nutrition of young animals due to disease early in life.

- Metaphylaxis of infertility and puerperal diseases and to support the treatment of infertility.

- Tetanies and paresis as an adjunct to Ca/Mg therapy.

- Roborant in cases of stress, overexertion and reduced resistance of healthy animals.

- Tonic in cases of weakness, secondary anaemia, exhaustion and chilling.

- Improvement of muscular efficiency, especially in animals kept for working, sports and breeding purposes.

Dose and administration

Injection by intravenous, intramuscular or subcutaneous route.

Gatosal@100 is administered according to condition and body weight.

A) In acute diseases:

Horse, cattle: 5.0 – 25.0 ml

Foal, calf: 5.0 – 12.0 ml

Sheep, goat: 2.5 – 5.0 ml

Lamb: 1.5 – 2.5 ml

Dog, cat, fur animals: 0.5 – 5.0 ml

Poultry: 1.0 ml

To be repeated daily if required.

B) In chronic diseases

Half the above dosage is required repeatedly at intervals of 3-5 days.

C) In healthy animals

Half the above dosage

Withdrawal period

For meat, eggs, and milk: 0 days

Storage: Store below 30oC and protected from light. Do not freeze.
