Dosage form: Powder for injection

Composition: 

+ 01 powder vial contains Ceftiofur sodium: 5 g.

+ 01 vial contains solvent for injection: 100 ml.

Indications

Ceftiofur is a new generation antibiotic with highly effective to treatment of respiratory diseases, pneumonia, rattle, CRD, pasteurellosis, typhoid, metritis, mastitis in cattle, goats, sheep, dogs and poultry.

Special treatment of mastitis, metritis and vaginitis in dairy cows and sows.

Contraindication: Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to components of the product.

Dose and administration

Injection once daily, for 3-5 days.

+ Cattle: 1-2 ml per 50 kg body weight per day. Intramuscular or subcutaneous injection.

+ Pigs: 1 ml per 15-20 kg body weight per day. Intramuscular injection.

+ Piglets: 1 ml per 10-15 kg body weight per day. Intramuscular injection.

+ Goats, sheep: 1 ml per 22 kg body weight per day. Intramuscular injection.

+ Dogs and cats: 1 ml per 15 kg body weight per day. Intramuscular or subcutaneous injection.

+ Chickens and ducks: 1 ml per 10 kg body weight per day. Subcutaneous injection.

Withdrawal period

For meat and milk

+ Cattle, pigs: 4 days.

+ Sheep, goats: 0 days.

Storage: Keep it in a cool dry place, protected from direct sunlight. Temperature not exceeding 30oC.
