Dosage form: Solution for injection.

Composition: Each 100 ml contains:

Iron (Iron III - hydroxide dextran complex): 20 g

Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12): 10 mg

Excipients qs: 100 ml

Indications

Prophylaxis and treatment of anaemia in claves.

Contraindication

Administration to animals with vitamin E deficiency.

Administration to animals with diarrhoea.

Administration in combination with tetracyclines, because of the interaction of iron with these drugs.

Dose and administration

For subcutaneous administration.

Calves: 2-4 ml, subcutaneously, in the first week after birth.

Withdrawal period: None.

Storage: FE-B12 20% has a 3-year shelf life when stored dark below 25oC. After first opening, store dark and refrigerated (2-8oC), and finish within 2 weeks.
